breathing room

2008 October 24
by KCOU

After meeting with a number of individuals from MSA over the past couple weeks, we have been granted the necessary funding for the new tower and transmitter.  This means that, in the short-term, KCOU will remain on the air.  However, we are now looking down the road at various long-term solutions that will ensure the future of your station and avoid situations like these from arising ever again.

There have been a few ideas already discussed, including the possibility of moving out of MSA over the course of the next few years.  Nothing has been decided yet nor do we have much in the way of particulars at this time, but both KCOU and MSA will be working together on this matter.

We appreciate all of the support that you have provided us so far and your continued support of KCOU in the future.

After an overwhelming response on t-shirts, we had to order in a second batch and they are now available from the front desk of Brady A022 (downstairs MSA office) when you give a gift of $10 or more to support KCOU.

Special thanks to Diggit Graphics in Columbia for their help with these shirts!
